    Purpose and Functions

    Professional Standards is committed to developing a high-quality workforce, recognizing that the highest possible standard for all school district employees is essential to ensuring  of high standards for students.
    We work with applicants, employees, and administrators to ensure compliance with School Board policies and Federal and State laws. Our team provides services to schools and departments with all steps of progressive discipline, Equal Employment Opportunity complaints, Disability Act accommodations, criminal background checks, mandatory Employee Assistance Program, job abandonment, self-reporting of arrests, and ensuring a drug- and alcohol-free workplace.
